THROUGH MY EYES focuses attention on a group of women artists who are members of The Makers Studio Central Coast, an active printmaking studio based in Gosford. Running since 2016, the studio is predominately women artists who have come together for this exhibition to reflect observations of gender disparity in representation of women in art institutions throughout history.
This exhibition offers reflections and interpretations of women’s values and their sense of social responsibility across domestic, environmental and global settings. It explores the connectedness of these women artists to their environments
and their everyday lives, through their own words and mediums.
