Students will be guided through the many stages from composition through to the final brush strokes, conquering the fear of Oil Paint.

Materials 

General: Stretched canvases, small to medium or Primed boards.
Pallet (disposable is handy), pallet knife, colour shaper (optional) (silicone chisel type ) (cheaper in packs at hot dollar shops), rags
Oil paints: Raw or burnt umber, Burnt sienna, Ultramarine or cobalt blue, Lemon yellow, Red Australian red gold (art spectrum), Lamp black, Titanium white (preferably artist quality), Sap green (optional), Alizarin crimson Mediums: (Linseed oil with art spectrum clear oil paint) or preferably (under painting medium and glazing medium )
Brushes: Stiff synthetic flat size 2 and 4, 3/4 inch white taklon angle, Small round brushes sizes 0, 1, or 2, A fan brush, (Packets of taklon (white synthetic) brushes are available cheap at hot dollar shops) Extra brushes are handy.
Table easel (if preferring to sit at table) (Large easels are provided) * if large brushes are needed, Bunnings have great flat, sharp house painting brush range (cheaper)
